Ram 2500 loves to tow

• When it comes to towing in PRINCE GEORGE, Ram Heavy Duty pulls it off with ease. For 2011, the Ram  pickup provides a Class IV Receiver Hitch standard on all models, which provides instant towing capability of up to 10,000 lbs.  Standard trailer tow wiring with 4 & 7  pin connectors are integrated into the rear bumper.
• And to help you feel at ease when you're towing, new 7x11" Power Folding Trailer Tow Mirrors feature an adjustable mirror head to give you an even greater range  of vision when towing those extra-wide loads. The mirror head can be rotated horizontally or vertically to suit your  towing needs.

Engine Performance

• 5.7L HEMI V8 with VVT (Variable Valve Timing).
  This  legendary HEMI engine delivers 383 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 400 lbs-ft of  torque at 4,000 rpm with heavy-duty five speed automatic transmission.  The VVT increases the efficiency of the  engine, the performance, and gives you better fuel economy.
• 6.7L CUMMINS Turbo Diesel I-6 (Lowest priced Diesel in its class).
  What  you get out of this engine is 350 horsepower, up to 650 lbs-ft of torque (when  properly equipped) and great low end torque.  This engine gives you the performance and responsive handling you're looking for. It also provides low-cost  maintenance with 12,000 km oil change intervals.
  Ram  is the only Heavy-Duty Diesel Pickup that does not require a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system to meet Canada's strict emissions standards.  It uses a diesel particulate filter, which  eliminates almost all particulate matter emissions and an absorber catalyst to  reduce oxides of nitrogen by almost 90%.

Ram Introduces New Outdoorsman Model for HD

Ram Outdoorsman takes all of the features most useful to hunters, fishermen, campers and boaters and packages  them into one model. Outdoorsman combines convenience, off-road capability and  trailer-towing hardware in one package with a name that will resonate among its  intended users.

Ram Truck engineers - many of whom count  hunting, fishing, boating and camping among their hobbies - brought together  features that they felt would best meet the practical needs of owners who will  frequently use their Ram truck for towing or long, remote trips.

Outdoorsman will replace the TRX trim  level in the 2011 Ram Truck lineup. It will join the other Ram Truck trim  levels, which include: ST, SLT, Laramie and Power Wagon (2500 only).

An integrated trailer brake control provides better driver control in towing situations and is now standard on SLT, Outdoorsman, Power Wagon and Laramie models. Trailer brake control information is conveniently displayed in the  Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC), which is now standard on all  models.
