The standard 3.7L V6 engine produces a tough 210hp and 235lb-ft of torque, with a generous dose of power at the engine?s low-end that provides you with even greater pull.  When properly equipped, the 2011 Jeep Liberty can tow a healthy 5,000lbs.

When you push the TOW/HAUL button next to the shifter, you get improved Jeep performance and fuel economy while minimizing engine noise during trailer towing or heavy-load hauling.

This engine has the fuel economy of 14L/100km in the city and 9.7L/100km when on the highway.

Standard on the 2011 Jeep Liberty is the Command-Trac II part-time 4WD system.

The part-time system still has the traditional 2WD High, 4WD Lock, and 4WD LOW.  When engaged, the transfer case provides equal torque from the engine to both the front and rear driveshafts, causing them to rotate at the same speed (not to be used on dry pavement).  This system provides the peace of mind of 4WD capability for part-time use on slippery or loose surfaces, such as snow, mud, or rain, along with the convenience of shift-on-the-fly.

The available Sky Slider is a full-length, fully retractable premium roof.  With the touch of a button, the Sky Slider automatically retracts to give you that special Jeep experience.  This 33x60 inch roof window opens front to back, exposing both rows of seating.
